    Adding a category adds a new branch of inventory items.

    You must log in with administrative permissions and go to the spot where the categories are listed.  Go to the spot where the categories are listed.  Click on "Add new category".   Adding a category is then as easy as giving the category a name and a folder name where all the inventory item's pictures will be stored.   Press the "Submit" button to add the new category and folder.  Use your browser's "Back" button to go to the page with the categories in it, and then press the "Refresh" or "Reload" button to see the new category.  You then can add new inventory items to this category.
