    Deleting a category deletes the branch you've selected and all of inventory items and images in that category.

    You must log in with administrative permissions and go to the spot where the categories are listed.  Deleting a category is then as easy as clicking the checkbox agreeing to delete this category and then pressing the "Delete" button on the web page.  Remember that this deletes all inventory items and images in the category.   Use your browser's "Back" button to go to the page with the categories in it, and then press the "Refresh" or "Reload" button to see that the category is no longer there.
