    Deleting a supercategory deletes the branch you've selected and all of categories, inventory items and images in that supercategory.

    You must log in with administrative permissions and go to the spot where the supercategories are listed.  Deleting a supercategory is then as easy as clicking the checkbox agreeing to delete this supercategory and then pressing the "Delete" button on the web page.  Remember that this deletes all categories, inventory items and images in the supercategory.   Use your browser's "Back" button to go to the page with the supercategories in it, and then press the "Refresh" or "Reload" button to see that the supercategory is no longer there.
